Bunking Pushpa's Physics Practicals Class

This, I think, is the second time i was caught and also took place sometime in the 2nd term of my 11th standard. But this time madhu did not join us as he was absent to school. Pushpa, at that time, was our Physics Practicals Teacher. As rouse and i has not completed our record, we decided to bunk the double practicals that day. Instead of staying back in class which had turned risky, we decided to hangout in the library ;). When the librarian asked us why we were
in the library and not in class, we replied "Teacher absent, the substitute teacher excused us to the library as we have to complete an assignment". The librarian, to our surprise, believed us and let us in, and we spent the whole two periods reading comics.
We went back to our classroom when the bell rang, and we had recess then. A few of our class mates asked us where we had been, to which we replied "Library". They did not seem impressed, and we then understood why, when they gave us a shock saying that Pushpa wants to meet us now. According to a good friend of mine, Rakesh, it seemed that Pushpa took attendance and had asked for us. The entire class knew what we had done and came to our support by saying that we were absent. Pushpa did not believe them and she had her own reasons as to why.
We knew we had met another doom and went to the physics lab, and found that our class teacher, kanchana was also present. Pushpa started off with her complaints saying that we never submitted our records on time and had always been a nuisance in the lab. Kanchana had nothing better to say and put herself on Pushpa's side instead of supporting her own class's students. Pushpa threatened to take us to MK(School Vice Principal). Rouse and I now started fretting and only then began pleading as we knew meeting MK was no small deal and always involved something serious.
We begged Pushpa for mercy and pleaded all the way to MK's room. When MK let us inside, we knew it was the end. But MK was a bit busy at that time which actually saved us. When Pushpa started her complaints, MK was least bit bothered. He kept smiling(Laughter Therapy) and was engrossed in his work. After Pushpa was finished, MK just looked at her and said "If you want, give them negative marks. You can go now". Rouse and I couldnt help laughing. From then onwards, both of us considered him our hero. A hero with the largest sense of humour. Pushpa was totally stumped and sincerely walked out of the room avoiding any eye contact with us.
